HRH The Duke of Gloucester Opened GCC Europe Expo

The GCC Europe Expo opened early on 12th November with an enthusiastic ceremony with The Duke of Gloucester formally opening the event with a short address to the VIP audience and a tour of the exhibition stands.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown also delivered a personalised video message of support to the efforts of the Expo.

This event has featured more than 150 leading Gulf and European companies and hosted a comprehensive series of educational seminars to highlight investment opportunities in various sectors.

At a strategic time, this trade event has taken the lead to facilitate trade and investment and to help forge potentially thousands of new commercial relationships between EU and GCC businesses within the challenges of the current economic crisis.

Oil giant Saudi Aramco sponsored the GCC Europe Expo Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony with The Right Honourable Lord Mandelson, Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform as the Keynote Speaker.
